Welcome to the Mowbray Buildings website. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General Overview
Mowbray Buildings ("we," "us," or "our") is based in Dannevirke, New Zealand, providing custom-designed pole sheds, kitset options, and building solutions across New Zealand.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers accessing our website, using our online 3D shed design tools, requesting quotes, or purchasing products.
2. Quotations and Design Concepts
Design Tools & Concepts: Any concepts, images, dimensions, or specifications generated via our online "Design Your Own Shed" tool or initial discovery stage are preliminary and intended for estimation and planning purposes.
Quotes: Formal quotations are provided in writing and remain valid for the period specified on the quote (typically 30 days, subject to material cost fluctuations).
Final Specifications: Final build specifications, engineering details, and prices will be confirmed in a formal agreement prior to manufacture or dispatch.
3. Orders and Payment
An order is confirmed once the deposit specified in your agreement or invoice is received.
Full or final payment schedules (including kitsets or construction milestones) will be clearly outlined in your specific contract or sales invoice prior to dispatch or commencement.
4. Delivery & Lead Times
Delivery Scope: We deliver kitsets and materials throughout New Zealand.
Timelines: Lead times (such as our standard 2–3 week delivery target for confirmed kitsets) are estimates given in good faith. Actual delivery schedules may vary due to site accessibility, weather conditions, freight constraints, or supply chain delays.
Site Access: Customers are responsible for providing clear, safe, and suitable vehicle access for freight delivery to the designated delivery address.
5. Building Consents & Site Responsibility
Unless explicitly agreed in writing as part of a custom build contract:
Consents: The customer is responsible for determining whether building consents, resource consents, or council approvals are required, and for obtaining them prior to building.
Site Conditions: The customer is responsible for ensuring ground conditions, boundaries, and site preparations are suitable for the planned shed design.
6. Intellectual Property
All design files, custom drawings, website text, branding, video content, graphics, and layout on this site belong to Mowbray Buildings or its licensors.

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Building Act 2004, where applicable):
Mowbray Buildings is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this website or delays beyond our direct control.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of a product or service supplied will not exceed the amount paid by you for that product or service.
